Wedding Forum Speakers

The list of experts attending the Cartagena Wedding Dreams + Wedding Forum 2025 has been confirmed.
From September 22 to 24, 2025 Cartagena will be dressed in elegance to welcome the leading figures in the world of destination weddings.

As previously anticipated, one of the biggest surprises of this third edition is the presence of renowned Mexican wedding planner Mauricio Kirschner, who has made a mark in the world of luxury events with his unique and highly personalized approach. Mauricio will be part of the Academic Agenda of the event, which will take place at the Las Américas Convention Center, where he will share his experience and creative vision in planning high-end weddings, as well as current industry trends.

With a career spanning more than two decades in the editorial world, Colombian Kika Rocha has established herself as one of the most influential figures in fashion and lifestyle in Latin America. A former fashion editor at People en Español and a regular presence on the most prestigious red carpets, Kika combines her journalistic expertise with a fresh and relatable perspective on trends and storytelling in destination wedding fashion.

From Puerto Rico, Emilio Olabarrieta, founder of Emilio Olabarrieta Event Atelier, will share his vision on comprehensive event production and logistics. His career includes collaborations with luxury brands such as Cartier and iconic hotels like the Ritz-Carlton, as well as productions for artists like Marc Anthony. Joining him will be fellow Puerto Rican Yizette Cifredo, a renowned communicator, author, and speaker, who will discuss the role of hospitality as a transformative human experience, drawing on more than 25 years of social impact through the power of words.

The event will also feature renowned international figures such as Turkish wedding planner Meltem Bayazıt Tepeler, founder of KM Events, considered one of the most influential wedding planners in the world, with over two decades of experience in luxury destination weddings. From the United States comes Chris J. Evans, an international photographer and speaker, who will share his artistic and emotional approach to capturing destination weddings.

Arun Bablani, a global figure based in Dubai and founder of Vivaah Weddings, will share his expertise on expanding into new markets and the internationalization of high-end personalized celebrations. Adding to this global vision is Sabina de Szyszlo, a Peruvian pastry chef and CEO of La Dulciteca, who has transformed pastry-making into a narrative art that enhances the gastronomic experience at weddings.

Finally, Chilean eco-journalist Cata Droguett Parra, founder of Mujer Sustentable, will provide an essential perspective on sustainability and responsibility in the industry — topics for which she has been recognized by WWF, TEDx, and international media.

Ana de Agosto, one of the most respected figures in the Puerto Rican wedding industry, will host the academic agenda of Cartagena Wedding Dreams & Wedding Forum 2025. An industrial psychologist and PhD in education with a focus on leadership, Ana has built a strong career as a wedding planner, educator, and international speaker.
